The driver I used was the same one ecs 1.2 used when I test loaded it on
the machine.

OK I solved the  "cannot operate your harddrive" problem.  It seems when
I was making room on the floppy by deleting some unneeded adtaptec drivers
I commented out one I should not have in the snoop.lst.  Once I fixed
that the install proceed.

It got to the black screen where it says Loading....   then I got this:

I guess you call this progress ,I was able to figure out the snoop.lst
error but  I don't know where to start with this one (other than
checking out the kernall url you gave me).  So I guess I am
looking for help again.
