Greetings all!
As those of you who are recieving mail here know I have been struggling to
get the SupraExpress to work in a bbs environment. Here is what I have ended
up with:
I run RemoteAccess 2.02 along with FrontDoor 2.12sw and FMail 1.0g. The
system is set-up to run in what is commonly called "shell to mailer" mode.
In this senerio be sure you have RA answer the modem.
In FrontDoor 2.12 and RemoteAccess 2.02 you use the init string:
atm0&c1&d2w2&w
I am not sure if the &w is needed for modems without nvram... can anyone
verify that it IS needed?
Next, in your batchfile that runs the bbs you need to place the command:
echo atm0>com# (where # is equal to the comport you have the modem connected
to).
This command needs to be at every label in your batchfile just prior to the
command being executed by your batchfile.
Seize the day!
Rick
