| subject: | RA crash on ZMODEM DL |
Zmodem is working good now.. Got my first file leach online right now DLing ¨ever scifi/fantasy GIF there is LOL I had a CD-ROM full of them from the ¨old board and just dumped it to the harddrive since there's so much space. > yeah, it isn't too bad... i still run telix, though... using > a virtual modem... i haven't found anything yet that beats it Yes, Telix is great. I've though bout getting a Magic Jack and hooking up ¨my real modem again. I've head MJ can run modems ok.. I won't my that ¨virtual modem either, but that costs money I belive, something I'm greatly ¨lacking lately. Many if I go good at the ham flea market next month... > KT> THe BBS PC also runs my webserver. > same here... ftp and everything... it is how i allow access I'm playing with the idea of a mail server too. I just moved my main domain ¨from go-dorky to namecheap because they have dynapic dns support. So I ¨figure I could be fun to put in a mail server too. I have hmailserver ¨sitting here, have installed it yet. > i used to have sealink but i lost it with a lot of other > stuff in a crash back in the 90s... i currently have hslink, That sucks.. When I brough my BBS back, I restored it as it was 20 years ¨ago first, from old 5.25" floppies :) I knew buying the good ones would pay ¨off:) --- RemoteAccess 2.62.1+* Origin: HoloDeck BBS telnet://holodeckbbs.ddns.net London ON (1:229/728) SEEN-BY: 3/0 203/0 633/267 640/384 1384 712/0 620 848 770/1 @PATH: 229/728 426 123/500 154/10 203/0 640/384 712/848 633/267 |
