I'm beginning to suspect its a faulty keyboard.

I had this problem once before, except worse, I'd be editing a text file
(some code usually :)  the key(s) would stick and begin spitting out random
characters at a wild and furious pace, sometimes even saving the file!

Since I'm the only one with this problem, its probably time to try a new
keyboard.
