RB> I wish to attach a CD rom to an amiga 600, i have some RB> internal IBM ones that i can buy, i am just wondering if someone could RB> tell RB> me if i can attach that to my parallel port and if you could RB> tell me which to connect to where. Well, I have a CDROM x4 from an IBM system connected to my A1200, but what I did was get a IDE cable with a 2x2.5" IDE connectors [for the motherboard+the 2.5" HD in the 1200] and 1x3.5" IDE connector for the CDROM. I can say for a fact that once I set the software up, it works perfectly for me. --- Xenolink 1.984, XEmacs 1.2* Origin: Enconn BBS +61-2-9544 3824 The Engineering Connection (3:712/613) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/99 620/243 621/505 623/630 681 640/820 711/401 413 430 808 SEEN-BY: 711/809 934 712/311 407 411 505 506 517 613 623 624 704 888 713/317 SEEN-BY: 714/906 800/1 @PATH: 712/613 517 624 711/808 934 |
