BV>Sucker :)

make your self clear boy! sucker for what?

        (a) becoming a point
        (b) pointing off paul's board
        (c) using binkley
        (d) using professional point
        (e) acquiring even more comms software
        (f) wasting a substantial part of my life on fidonet
        (g) wasting a substantial portion of that time arguing with
            rod speed ***
        (h) all of the above
        (i) none of the above

*** it is a little known fact that the entity referred to as "rod speed"
is, in fact a sophisticated mail robot. it was devised by the well known
megalomaniac bill grimsley who, at the time wanted to set up his own
echo. the robot was let loose on z3t in order to move the inhabitants
over to mr grimsley's new empire. the robot was based on the old program
"eliza" but, instead of using the extracted data to probe the user's
psyche, it was set to refute any and all points of view put up.
unfortunately, some virus code got incorporated, and it has now spread to
approx 60% of fidonet. by the end of next year it is expected that all
of fidonet (except ltuae where no-one would notice) will be affected as
well as 40% of the internet .alt conferences. there is one ray of hope,
however, the virus reproduction is not perfect as can be seen by
degradation of the dictionary, and grammar parsing modules, so there is
hope that it may self destruct before destroying civilisation as we know
it.
