C'mon Hamish. Absorb the percent means loading the 3% onto the purchase

price. Any retailer worth anything would have calculated the amount of

business being taken by credit cards and absorbed the 3% of this business

across the board. We all pay for it eventually. Someone being upfront and

charging only the users of c/cards the 3% extra, in my books is supporting

the cash player. Retail stores etc carry this charge across the board, and

hence *all* pay..
