Hi David! Well I rechecked the file on Talisman, and one of the chapters (Amiga vs PC) was currupt. Other than that it worked fine. I have uploaded a fixed version. DW> Well i saw the moonlight intro 'n thought that was pretty DW> nifty! Bit of a bummer when the chapters wouldn't play ball! I thought the intro could have been a bit better, myself. I think that you should have been able to press space to skip it at *any* point, instead of waiting for the scroller to come up (get's a bit frustrating after you've loaded it for the n'th time), and I also think the "Moonlight #8" logo should have swung over the sideborder... ah well, I didn't code it, so it's not up to my "high" standards :) DW> I'm sure I'll cop a geeze at a working version before too long DW> :) Hopefully! Though I don't think your problem is the upload, I believe it's your system... btw, what setup do you have? At the moment, I think that Moonlight *doesn't* like a) 1571's, and b) 64C's. DW> Yeah! Didn't it used to be a C=64 support board? It seems I'm DW> now in the embarassing position of being C=64 sig-op of a board DW> less than favourable to the cause. Yep, back when it was called "Network BBS". Since this message, I have been given upload access there, so you'll see some new stuff there from me occasionally :) DW> It seems the file areas are getting crammed into one muddled DW> heap.... and your quite right about Artie and his dislike for DW> "large" 64 files (even though the 64 emulators take more room DW> than the whole 64 DIRs! Oh well! Hmm, I don't see what the problem is with 64 files... the largest stand alone file (ie: an ARK of a disk-side) is at most about 180k. Albeit, this will build up when there are lots of files, but nowhere near the same as, say IBM files build up. DW> Anyway, thanx for replying to the post. (can you guess where I DW> sent the lost mail from?) I'm sure I'll catch ya around the DW> joint! Hmm, does it begin with "G"? :) Cya round, Tarragon/Menace/Gothic Designs --- FMail 0.94* Origin: Some obscure reference to Terry Pratchett novels (3:638/100.5) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/54 623/630 632/348 998 633/158 371 635/503 636/100 638/100 SEEN-BY: 638/101 640/316 711/807 808 809 929 934 712/623 713/888 714/906 @PATH: 638/100 635/503 50/99 54/54 711/808 809 934 |
