Are you kidding?  When I read this the first time, I took "potted" to 
mean that it had a pot in it--but now think you meant potted-in like the 
old Ford engine control modules--with a resin-like gunk (like the 64-way 
connector on an '86 Sunbird that I had to clean out & repin--stuff was 
like Pentaprime), 
so that [presumably] the fact that the box housed only a pass-thru cable 
couldn't be discerned.  Izzat it?
