Joe, for some odd reason your comment about
a filk about a novel to the tune of "Oak, Ash and Thorn" 
caused me to realize I could write  a filk to the same tune
about the Anglo Saxon letters:  "Edh, Ash and Thorn" (unless
Mark Mandel beats me to it).
