Just had a look at received packets (using Inspecta! nice and
quick). In a normal session on yr board, I dnload two QWK packets.
The first one is a full scan of 3 of yr local areas - msgs to you,
msgs between local idiots, and netmail. If there is any mail to me
in these areas, personal.ndx appears. If not, it doesn't. The
second qwk is a Browse Yourmail Pack scan of Avtech. No
personal.ndx appears in any of these browse packets.

I've had no problems on yr board since I "initialized" the Browse
system on Avtech by manually reading a recent msg (the Browse
system appears to have stuffed up on the 4000 unread msgs).
