> If I had a cow, I could milk it and get milk for free. So I > should buy a cow, eh? You're getting the Slovenian syndrome > - "if it's cheap, buy it, no matter if you need it". [..] My point is basically: If you (or anyone else) have problems with the PID spec that are due to its format restrictions, etc., don't support it. The PID spec is not of major (any?) importance to FidoNet's structure, network, or how well/bad it works. But there is little point in having a "standard" if it lacks definitions. What *I* *don't* want to see is the software that is currently busy abusing "tear-lines" with tons of junk at the bottom of messages, move to PIDs and continue their quest for glory. ---* Origin: Absolute Solutions (2:270/17.6) SEEN-BY: 10/8 1650 11/157 13/13 50/99 100/525 104/821 105/69 103 330 107/941 SEEN-BY: 112/1 115/2 129/11 153/920 167/92 170/400 200/204 203/512 209/319 SEEN-BY: 209/342 720 215/705 236/48 260/1 261/1023 267/200 270/101 102 103 SEEN-BY: 280/1 282/1 288/7 292/876 300/1 332/1 340/20 345/12 348/105 353/218 SEEN-BY: 357/1 362/37 380/25 387/31 396/1 403/150 405/0 620/243 632/348 SEEN-BY: 640/201 206 217 305 820 821 822 823 690/660 711/409 410 413 430 431 SEEN-BY: 711/807 808 809 816 934 712/515 713/888 721/117 724/10 800/1 1000/1 SEEN-BY: 2430/1423 2605/606 2613/5 2624/201 306 3412/1114 3417/26 3615/50 SEEN-BY: 3619/25 7104/2 7877/2809 @PATH: 270/17 24/24 396/1 270/101 209/720 640/820 711/409 808 809 934 |
