Well that just goes to show how appearances can be deceptive. The use of
say just the alts of bike riding, jogging, walking and swimming have
been extensively studied as far as how useful they are for fitness and
use for conditions like arthritis and degenerative conditions like that.
And there is certainly no conclusion that bike riding has unique
advantages. About all you can say definitively is that its better than
jogging, but not walking and swimming.
