Are you surprised? Or just reminding me that it was volunteer? Either way,
I'm aware of this, and we are not complaining. He says that many times it's
much easier to get up in the morning and not wondering what you're going to
wear. It's usually specified by the command. The only thing that "gets old",
as he says, is getting a haircut on an every-other=week basis. If he were
civilian, he may not get a haircut quite so often.

This is true. But then again, they're children. Parents have to decide what's
good for the kids - not kids, as they don't have the experience to know
what's good for them. Children should be given the opportunity to make some
choices, but important ones (especially concerning their schooling) is an
adult decision - IMHO.
BTW, I have a question to ask you in private mail - do you have either
netmail or email capabilities?
