FW>The first message says it is looking for a file or directory called FW>OS2BOOT. True it is not there, I deleted it. Have also deleted the FW>hidden OS/2 files such as OS2LDR. FW>Can someone please give me an idea what to look for? I want to go back FW>to having no OS/2. This is a pity, but oh well :-/ You will have to boot off a DOS boot disk that has sys.com on it. Then you can type "sys c:" - that will replace the boot sector on drive C, causing DOS to boot properly again. Oh yeah. And if you want to *completely* remove all traces, after removing the OS/2 subdirectories, etc., use "attrib -s -h -r ea?data.?sf" and then delete that file, and do similar things with "wp?root.?sf".
