Then I'm feeling a little ripped off. I purchased a belkin 5 port usb 2.0 card. Has three channels, two OHCI for the four external ports and one EHCI for the internal. So I only have one usb 2 port on this 5 port card? I can put a powered hub on the internal port to expand to 4 ports on the EHCI I guess. Mo' money! And move the modem again! Maybe if I move it back win98 will start working again (snickersnicker!) Guess If I new how it worked before I bought it, I would have looked for a 2.0 card with only one or two channels and made sure they were either both EHCI or one EHCI and one firewire.
