Out of interest, what kind AB> of SIMM is it (how many pins, what chips, how many chips)? Just found that 4M stick. The complete number reads: KM44C1000CJ -7 and it's on a 72 pin stick with 8 chips. I don't know who makes it but it does have a logo that looks a bit like a clover leaf rotated onto its left side. They look the same as the TMS44400J up there. Consider for example that a HYB511000BJ is a 1Mx1 DRAM so if the 41000J follows a similar pattern it should be a 1M x 4 chip but ICBW too. BTW I found another 4M stick with it: LH64400BK-70 and it's also on a 72 pin stick with 8 chips like the other but made by Sharp. I don't usually mix and match but they seem to go okay together.
