I mis-spoke about all hospital beds being grounded.

 All of OUR hospital beds and surgery tables are
grounded. There may be some hospitals that have old
non-powered beds that are not grounded and none of
them are grounded (as far as I know) during inside
transport.

 Still need to look into the AC vs DC question.
