And a postscipt to the install drama yesterday:



When I booted the PC today, I found that the majority of the icons to do
with the Workfame, toolkit and compiler had disappeared. Now, I know I did
a normal shutdown yesterday, so I've no idea where they've gone. The are a
large number of them so it is going to be a pain to set them all up
manually, and I don't plan on reinstalling the product :-(



The other guy who was installing C Set++ compiler at the same time and also
tried to install the Toolkit debugger, found that he couldn't boot his PC
today. He was getting some message about the OS/2 kernal being corrupted or
not found. He ended up reinstalling OS/2.



My faith in this compiler is not very high. I'll have to see what it's like
when I actually start using it.
