Grant, -=> Quoting grant beattie to David Lam <=- DL> You're better off going for all 72pin, or if you insist, 4x30 and DL> 3x72 gb> my current mem is 4 x 1mb, 4 x 256k. It would be good if I could put gb> these on the new MB, too. I also have a 1mb 72 pin that I'm not using gb> (because I can't on my MB) and 6mb is nicer than 5mb :-) If your such a "Power user" then why the sh*t are you messing around with only 5 mb (and 1 of that using sh*tty little 256k simms). Why the hell don't you just upgrade to one 72pin 8mb simm. Good luck in getting a motherboard to work with both 30pin and 72pin simms. I know my mb does'nt like me adding 4 1mb simms to the 16mb 72pin simm that's there.... Stephen ... What do you mean?
