Only those under 40.  Those of us over 40 are too old to be drafted, so the
bright side is that our jobs are secure because everybody under 40 will be
(eventually) and we won't have to compete with them.

I've never heard anything about our precise goal in this fiasco; this is
sort of how we got into Vietnam, except the area is bigger and the enemy
that outnumbers us 2 billion to 300K. something like six to one.
