Hello Felix,

I don't know.. :) It's been too long for me .

All the instances of your bbs are the same bbs, just different nodes of
that bbs.. All the nodes would be able to see the echomail messages.

No, I don't think it works that way.. The echomail areas are
"public" areas where anyone can read and write (assuming you've
given the user read and write privileges). Those fidonet areas should not
allow "private" messages. Only your netmail area should allow
Private messages.

Right.

I don't think that would work.

If you are sending a private netmail to me, you would send to Janis
Kracht{at}1:261/38.. but not echomail, only netmail :)

> I wonder how the hub is operate the msg files on theses different way to
> enter a message ?

Is Joe Delahaye your uplink? If he is, you would have a route command
something like this:

route-to 1:249/303 1:* 2:* 3:* 4:* 5:* 6:*

This line says route all traffic for Zones 1-6 to 1:249/303 (Joe's system).
If your uplink (where you get your echomail from) is someone else, then you
would put his or her node number there.

Take care,
janis
