EA> Audio Technica, but what was delivered was an RMS. Has anyone

RMS? Never heard of them.
EA> What's bugging me about this thing is the clip on the transmitter
EA> is like a big money clip and doesn't stay clipped on the back of
EA> my guitar strap.
Don't EVER trust the clips. use gaffer (never duct!) tape and tape it to the
strap, or get some velco (what I usually do on tour) and make a velcro "wrap"
to hold it to the strap. (Or buy one of those aftermarket "bags" that mount
on your strap to hold the xmitter.)
EA> The other thing is the cord from the transmitter
EA> to the guitar is over _four_ freaking feet long !
NEVER trim this unless you're absolutely SURE it's ok to, or at least if you
have to maintain certain lengths. Most of the time, that cable is also part
of the antenna system.
EA> Anyone else use one of these things ?
I've used many, many wireless units, on tour and in the theatre (as a
stagehand). I like to think I have a little experience with them. ;-)
