Hello Carl,
>Yet, that doesn't prove how well the system is running--I know you don't
hav
>much time - but I have been posting some quotes from "The Team Handbook
or
>Educators". When you have time, see if you can get a copy to read.
You are right. I still have not had time to read the mail packages. It's
been too many late, late nights at school - the earliest I have left is
6:20 and then I bring things home to do in the evening and on weekends.
At least I am caught up on my personal mail. Will have to start reading
the mail packets this weekend.
CB>Are you allowed to put student's work in your resume' document?
>(Like a portfolio?)
The resume package is just the one going to the interviewers in advance.
It will include a covering letter, resume and some letters of reference.
At the actual interview I will take my photo album...Unfortunately, I
don't really have any samples of student's work for my folio.
In my current assignment, the class have done portrait drawings - I
forgot to take photos of them drawing each other, unfortunately. They
also did some free form poetry. I guess I could have taken some of that
work and explained what we were doing.
At this point I don't know what is happening regarding where I will be
teaching on Monday. The teacher is not sure if she will be back or not.
I believe the Dr. feels she should stay off until Christmas but she is
not giving in. If only she would just decide a few weeks at a time then
I could get some solid planning in and get on a roll with the work.
I wish I would have taken before and after photos of the classroom to
show the work that I put in organizing everything and cleaning it all
up.
Oh well, I might know some more tomorrow - we shall see. If I am back in
the classroom, maybe I will be able to borrow some of the work to take
with me (or photocopies of it) to the interview (December 4th.)
-Ruth
