RH>I have no idea if this will work (I only recieved your first 2 RH>messages in this packet) and I'm not willing to see if it will lockup my RH>machine . Oh heck no!! I wouldn't ask anyone to do that! RH>Anyway, unlike under dos, OS/2 DosFind... requires you to RH>free its internal buffers by calling DosFindClose(...). This may or may RH>not be your problem. If its not in there, it should be anyway. Nope, I had it in there and was very careful to make sure it was only called when a valid handle was returned from DosFIndFirst. I have had ???Close functions hose the system before when itereated with bad handles. I was watchin for that one closely... The real problem was with LS 3.0. It is a bug with IP07001 & memory getting lost by the requester when doing directory searches on a redirected drive. IP07045 applied to LS 3.0 fixes it. I have been running that exact same code constantly all week confidence testing it. Hasn't crashed yet. :) RH>Richard Hasty RH>Team OS/2 RH> RH> ~ KWQ/2 1.2g ~ Windws is ine for bckgroun comunicaions RH> RH> ___ * MR/2 1.52 NR * 3 things occur when you age.. 1) memory goes 2) uh.. um.. --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.11* Origin: Freezing Point BBS - WDNet HQ - Mpls MN: (1:282/85.0) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 430 SEEN-BY: 711/807 808 809 934 942 949 712/353 515 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 282/85 1 270/101 396/1 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 808 809 934 |
