Ah. That's a different animal from the 41000 I think. My notes suggest
that 44C1000 is (as you said) 1M x 4 bits and that the 41000 is 1M x 1 bit
(isn't it nice when we're both right? :-) Eight 1M x 4 bit chips would make
a 1M x 32 (4Mb) SIMM, so that adds up nicely.
