Frank,

I will soon find out ;->

But in my afternoon job I drive a Ford Econline E250 which has about the
same weight distribution and a worse center of gravity. While it ain't an
Audi A4, it handles OK. You get some rear wheel hop on washboard surfaces,
but nothing that can't one can't live with (any live axle vehicle has it).
But keep in mind the size of the vehicle I drive for FedEx, so my
sensitivity may be different than yours (and that big white truck can be a
real handful in the bumps).

The Chevy Silverado I ordered has 4-wheel antilock disc brakes that has a
weight sensitive bias for the rear brakes. Empty bed, very little pressure
applied to the rear brakes.
