subject: Search & Replace HRt in 6.1D

My computer-illiterate wife has decided to write the Great American Novel, so
I set up 6.1D with a graphics screen and turned her loose.
When I came back 10 hours later, I found that she had keyed in a lot of
material; but not being familiar with the double space feature of WP, she had
keyed in double hard returns at the end of each line.
Figuring no problem, I would simply search and replace them all with spaces,
just like I do in my trusty 5.1+.
So I gave alt-F2, which popped up (or pulled down) a menu with a lot of
stuff, including spaces for text to be searched and replaced. But try as I
might, I couldn't seem to enter a HRt as the thing to be searched for.
What's the trick to doing this?

I don't use 6.x anymore, so I can't check my memory, but in the menu
line of the search dialog box, there is an item named Search or Match.
Select it, and chose codes. then you can enter the Hrt.

p.s. You didn't get an answer to this because it didn't get posted to
FIDO until AFTER you posted the HTML message saying you got no answers.
Maybe your off-line reader or BBS?

Well, evidently nobody here could tell me how to delete HRts in 6.1D; so
here's an easier question:
How can I convert my WP text and graphics to HTML?
