-> Once, because I happened to be teaching computer courses in a prison,
-> I was asked to look at a bunch of floppy disks confiscated from some
-> inmate, to see whether they contained any "secret" information. It
-> was an interesting exercise, in part because I had no idea what sort

Right. And also there are so many ways of "piggy-backing" information
onto files that ostensibly have some some completely different purpose.
Still, if you had all the inmate's disks, I guess you would have soon
spotted any program that was designed to extract any such information.
This would have been easier than trying to find the information itself.
Interesting problem...!
-> In the end I decided the disks contained only what they appeared to
-> contain, really poor quality girlie gifs :)
Ah! But were they doing semaphore?!

 To all reading this message.

There are a few of us who are a little corn fused about EDO simms etc.

 Can anyone inform us :-

Can regular 72 pin simms be replaced with EDO?
Can regular 72 pin simm be used with EDO simms?
Can a M.Board using EDO simms be replaced with regular simms?
Thanks in advance for any usefull information on this matter.
