Hi Richard,

RG> I haven't been on my bike in such a long while that I lost the desire
RG> to do so. I cycled so much this summer that I feel I got my fill.
RG> Gained almost ten pounds since my last ride. Will be starting to run
RG> again since I'm training for The Canadian Cross Country Ski Marathon in
RG> Feberuary. I will also have the ATB out this winter to ride through
RG> snow banks.
Been there many times (time off from riding), We need breaks from
cycling for both mind and body. My wife gets mad sometimes when
I have been spending too much time away on long rides both days of
the weekend. My riding drops way down every winter not only
because I have trouble tolerating cold tempetures but like you said
you get your fill. I don't quit for the winter but there are no five
hour rides for me until daylight savings time starts again. But the
good part is when the ice melts in spring and the days start getting
longer, I hit the road with more enthusiasm. Good luck in the Ski
marathon.
