Randy, I did get the message. I just haven't seen the AR-8000 referred 
to as the AR8K. Of course it makes perfect sense to write it that way. I 
understand that the AOR scanners, at least the newer ones are very nice, 
but it's never been clear to me if they will do PL or DPL. That is one 
of the things that I need in a scanner, and one of the great attractions 
of the HS-200 for me.
