Barf. Korean Squiers and Chinese Bullets are plywood bodied crap not even
made by Fender. Don't get me wrong... they're excellent student guitars, as
good or better than any Fender copies made by other companies such as Samick
(Aria, Hondo, Marathon, Washburn), Cort (Kramer, Hohner), or Saehan
(Applause, Ovation, B.C.Rich, Celebrity, Fernandes, Westone)... but they are
not anywhere NEAR the quality or playability of even the cheapest Mexican
models (which are truly made BY Fender). The Mexican Squiers use solid
bodies (I believe poplar), and basically the same hardware used by Leo and
CBS in the '60s.
C-ya! Rich
