O.K., will do. Are you in a bike club that organizes occasional trips? We
have a lot of these small back road here in Muskoka. Most of them go past
old farms, abandoned, and cemeteries, long forgotten. Two excellent books
that we discovered - and I have no personal investment in them - are:
Backroads of Ontario, Ron Brown, The Boston Mills Press, Erin,
Ontario, N0B 1T0, 1995 and
Bikes & Hikes, A Guide to Central Ontario, Gordon D. Harris,

I've not biked in Quebec; I guess I have a bit of trepidation, needless,
perhaps. But it's a beautiful province, and the people are some of the
