If you need a vehicle of this capability, MPG isn't that much of a factor.
Now I could also have a second vehicle that was much more fuel efficient to
use when I didn't need to use the Silverado, but then I would have
additional car and insurance payments. The car payments might not be too
bad, but car insurance rates here in NJ are outrageous even for a modest
vehicle. Could offset the cost gas for the Silverado (it costs me about $60
a month to insure my '93 Grand Cherokee, which is my current 2nd vehicle).
