Maximus 2.02 does not recognise domains, full stop. Is it broken? FTS-1 mentions zones, nets, nodes and points, but not domains. I don't think it is particularly wise to define FTS1-only software as 'broken'. > Interstingly, while writing and testing my File Forwarder, > XTick, I have encountered only ONE other File Forwarder that does > not understand FQFA in tic files.. "Interestingly" ? That's the most boring thing I've heard all day. From what I understand, the TIC file format specifies that software should support 5D-addressing where possible. I can't remember the name of the document that defines the TIC file format though. I'm not surprised that most of the TIC processing software you've encountered can handle 5D-addressing, since TIC processors are relatively recent (widely-used) inventions as far as FidoNet technology goes. andrew --- Msgedsq/2 3.05* Origin: Blizzard of Ozz, Melbourne, Australia (3:633/267.1{at}fidonet) SEEN-BY: 50/99 209/720 620/243 632/103 341 348 998 633/246 252 253 260 267 SEEN-BY: 633/371 373 634/384 635/502 503 727 639/100 640/201 206 217 305 820 SEEN-BY: 640/822 823 690/660 711/409 410 413 430 431 807 808 809 816 934 SEEN-BY: 712/515 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 633/267 252 371 635/503 632/348 640/820 711/409 808 809 934 |
