Taking pix at a friend's wedding with a Canon PowerShot G1, I had to
recharge the LiIon battery after only 175 pictures... the Microdrive
gobbled a lot of that power - the LCD screen did the rest.  Since I
only had the one battery, I missed a good 45 minutes to an hour of the
festivities.

I now have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel that uses the same battery as the
G1, with a dual-battery grip attachment, and two extra batteries on top
of that. :)  At my wedding last year, we shot over 730 pictures on the
CF/512 flash cards and didn't have to switch or recharge the batteries
the whole weekend.  Granted, the Rebel, being an SLR, doesn't have the
LCD on continuously, but not using the Microdrive certainly gave it a
boost.

LOOK's servers (where finnsoft.com is hosted) were down for more than
36 hours at one point last week, as were those of Telus and a few other
large companies - megamailservers.com serves a LOT of people!) - then I
got 1500 pieces of mail (mostly spam) all at once.

As I had sent to you privately, I'm still waiting on supply of at least
20 copies from Mensys - they've obviously been busy with Warpstock in
the last little while.

I can send you "burned" copies of the ISOs I was able to download, and
an electronic license - with the "official" CD's to follow when I
actually get them - that should hold you over and get you up and
running on v1.2.

Just let me know, please.  (and that goes for anyone else who's ordered
it from me and didn't hear back from me for whatever reason!  Customers
with eCS PC's, your discs will arrive with the computer, and "official"
ones will follow by mail when available)
