I am replying based on my Epox EP-8K5A2+, now 2 yrs old.
At that time, the "+" was indicative of RAID included.

Mine does not use ECC memory.  Says so in the user manual.  You should be able 
to D/L the manual from Epox site to be sure.

T'is a good board...good bios...zero defects.  (not using the RAID)
