that means she is entitled to a UK passport and to live in the UK. I hold a
UK passport for the same reasons ...

... unless the law is still written so that it is your father's place of
birth that counts. I have a vague recollection that this is the way the
mid-80s revisions to the UK passport statutes were written. (My Dad was
English too.)
