KR+i am having this problem with aol right now:
KR+i log on each time at 288 and if i am lucky 31.2.....i called in to the
tech
+support line and they gave me the reason,
KR+ *oh sir...... maybe it's line noise...*
+but i have called alot of other isp's and have been wiht a few and logged
on
  +with 38.4-56k....now wouldn't that be strange eh???????
I work for a large ISP here and they (aol) are right or close to it.
Line noise will have something to do with it. Do the other places you
call have the same prefix? Nope I bet...It could be a switch at the
telco on that exchange doing it. In all fairness is could be the modem
too but doubtfull. I have a Supra that outruns my courier but thats
rare.
I solved my problems with a Bit Surfer Pro. ISDN...
KR+AOL Is a shitty service....... the only reason im wiht them is free
+hours..... but i am also one of their BETA-testers........
You should hear what I hear..
KR+give me an e-mail a:
