Strip.s was interesting for me, because I use a variety of 4-5
macros to convert the message-headers in one simple header format.
This works since the old days QEdit-Support came by QWK-Mail.
But STRIP.S fails, if you like to change the order. (But no need for
me to perfect strip.s.)
To read messages with difficult or user customized message header formats
may help ReadMail (Dos).
RMail41.Zip is freeware. In ReadMail 5.0 beta you can define not one
but four different header lines to identify the begin of a message.
(It's also a good thing to browse through online log-files from a bbs.)
You can find ReadMail 5.0 beta (it's not perfect, but a nearly complete
beta-version) on
    ftp.let.ruu.nl/pub/users/jeroen/readmail/rm50b76.zip
