I purchased online pc133 memory for my thinkpad, as it appeared to be
correct. Would not work at all. Went to the local computer store who
added their own 128 meg memory in for the cost of the memory only. Gave
it to me working with win98. Came home and booted with ECS and found
memory errors big time. He put pc133 in that didn't kill the computer,
and as long as windy didn't need it, it didn't cause problems. I took
it back to him, he exchanged it for the PC100 memory that is correct.
It's great now.

The plug in theory doesn't quite work anymore. And the small local
stores are sometimes the best places to go.
