OK ... my experience was from my Thinkpad 365XD from a LONG time ago.

Yes, the old NiCad batteries did develop memory, but NiMH isn't supposed 
to have that problem.  It's been so long since I've had to undock my A22 
that I don't know how the battery has been effected.
