Hello Ivy,
Just off the top of my head, the only things I can think of the
government has withheld the facts of are the atom bomb tests made
in the 1950s with soldiers used in close proximity with which to
test the effects of radiation fallout. This was later admitted to
(40 years later). Also the agent orange incidents in Vietnam.
...And the possibility that our troops in the Gulf War were
affected by toxic gas from Iraq.
None of this is proof that they lied about aliens at Roswell.
...And it's understandable why they deny the existance of "Area-51."
The "weather balloon" story was used to cover up the "Project Mogul"
test balloons which was later said to include test dummies and that it
was part of a secret project to test for radiation from possible Russian
Atomic bomb tests. ...Just little white lies in the interest of National
Security, Ivy. None of this proves the existance of aliens. Not even
the testimony from the descendants of the original Roswell residents
proves that aliens were involved in any crashes in that vincinity.
We know the government withholds certain truths, and we can pretty
much prove it after the fact. So, if we have shown them to be less
than honest with the public, it still doesn't demonstrate they are
lying about aliens. I had a flying saucer sighting in 1953. I never
said it was flown by aliens. I did say I didn't think we had that
kind of technology back then. Not all people who believe in UFOs
think they are piloted by aliens. It's fun to think about it though.
