It isn't a modem. DSU= Data Service Unit. Not real familiar with them, but I 
think their basic use is to connect off premise workstations to the LAN via a 
telephone line. V.35 is the protocol it uses to send/recieve data at 56K(?).
Would have to check my books at work for more info.
