And how come the price at the pump is up 20 cent per gallon, but the price
of crude has only gone up 20-30 cents per Barrel? Why is it that when the
oil price goes up on Monday, the price of gas is up on Tuesday? Amazing
how fast that costlier crude makes it into the ground at the pump.

BTW, here in the states, we're just now really approaching the price per
gallon that we had back in the early 70's. I remember gas at $1.80/gallon
for a few months back then. With inflation, and increased taxes at this
point, gas is still a real bargain here in the states (I know that
elsewhere in the world it's far higher, but who's making the money there?
Is it all just differences in taxes?)
