BINGO! Only some of us are naive enough to believe MS and try using
NT's disk manager to re-enable Bootmanager. Trust me, such a procedure
enables one to test one's backup and emergency restore procedures
promptly and thoroughly.......
BTW, NT 4 does the same thing. I installed it yesterday to get ready
for a client next week and tried it to see what happened. Guess I
should re-read deSade for simpler methods of self flagellation.
