JT> uchar EXPENTRY _getch(void)
The *real* getch() function has an external name of _getch(). Since the
_System (EXPENTRY) convention does not prepend an aditional underscore, you
are ending up with two functions called _getch().
Note that "application programmmers" are not supposed to start
any function/variable names with an _underscore; that privilage is
supposed to be reserved for compiler vendors.
When I renamed your function to _getch2(), everything worked fine.
I also made the following changes:
JT> LIBRARY RTL2
Should be:
LIBRARY RTL2 INITINSTANCE
JT> /* TEST2.DEF */
JT> NAME TEST2
JT> DESCRIPTION 'Dynamic Linking Library Sample application'
JT> IMPORTS RTL2._getch
Erase test2.def entriely; instead, use RTL2.LIB (created by borland when
you select "Generate Import Library|From DLL" to resolve the
imports to your DLL -- it removes any posibilty of human error.
Therefore, remove TEST2.DEF from your *.PRJ file and replace it with
RTL2.LIB (which will be created automatically from RTL2.PRJ).
