Justice is the process of determining guilt where as retribution is see as
the payment for the wrong doing... Court system finds you guilty (process)...
sentences you to a term in jail... (consequence) AKA retribution

The justice system is all we have to bring out the truth and show the
evidence to the public. Buddy lost that right when he resisted arrest and
even worse done so with a gun.
