Who did you order it from?  If you've held the AT and like it, and the RMS is

It's possible, but even if it isn't, it will definitely void any warranty.

Rivets can usually be replaced by screws, though it can be tough on something 
where clearance is tight.  If you're concerned about the clip breaking, I'd 
send it back and find someone who will sell you what you want.
