Hello Roy!

AW>> Of course you do. Bikes are clean nowadays with teflon based chain

AW>> lubricant and not much grease. The bikes can go in your spare room or

AW>> or computer room in the corner no problems. If you get completely

AW>> carried away you can put an old sheet over your carpet.

AW>> I've seen better excuses from the anti-pointers!

 RM> Hey, I heard that!!!

RM> Just to keep you up to date on my flaky point system, the other

RM> night I wrote a single reply to my local sysop, and then told

RM> Squish to pack. It found that msg, then found two more random msgs

RM> in another area (normal incoming msgs, neither of them with my name

RM> anywhere), packed them too, and wanted to transmit them. Stuffed if

 RM> I know what's wrong.

My shotgun approach would be to delete all your point stuff, and

reinstall using one of the public domain point installation routines.

My point setup is working like clockwork. Surprising really, when you

take into account the fact that I'm an ex-operator, and we all know

that they only have brains the size of monkeys.

RM> Cheers - keep up the good bike fight!

Thanks! I'm fond of unpopular causes such as sticking up for cats,

cyclists and Rod Speed ;-)

Oh yeah, I'm a bike rider, so my brain must be the size of a VERY

BLOODY SMALL MONKEY.

Regards, Alan
